BUILT ON TRUST.

The four things Connecticut homeowners tell us matter most — and how we deliver each one, in writing.

01

Licensed & Fully Insured

Connecticut GC license, full general liability, and workers' comp on every job. Certificates on request before contract.

02

Fixed-Price Contracts

Every scope line priced in writing before we break ground. No vague ranges, no surprise labor invoices at the end.

03

In-House Project Managers

Our own PM and lead carpenter run your job start to finish. Same faces on day one and day last — no rotating subs.

04

One-Year Workmanship Warranty

Written warranty on everything we build. Something isn't right after we leave? We come back and fix it.

Stringa handled our full house renovation from permit to punch list. The crew showed up on time every single day, communicated clearly, and the finished work is genuinely beautiful. Best contractor experience we've ever had.

We interviewed four contractors before choosing Stringa. What sold us was the detail in the estimate — no vague numbers, no surprises later. Job came in on budget and two days ahead of schedule.

Adding a second story to a lived-in house is stressful. Their team put up dust barriers, kept the site clean daily, and treated our home like it was theirs. Craftsmanship is top shelf.

Tight timeline, occupied building, city inspection headaches — they handled all of it. Our tenants never lost a business day. I'd hire Stringa again for any commercial project.

Every question got answered within a day. The project manager walked us through options at every phase without pressure. The finished kitchen is exactly what we asked for, done exactly right.

Fair price, no shortcuts, no drama. The guys who worked on the project were the same guys from day one to day last. That continuity matters and you can feel it in the finished product.

[ 05 / COMMON QUESTIONS ]

BEFORE YOU ASK.

See all FAQs →

How long will my project take from contract to move-in?

A kitchen or bath usually takes 8–14 weeks on site. A major addition or full renovation runs 5–9 months. New construction is typically 10–14 months. Permits and material lead times add to that; we build a realistic schedule into your contract and update it weekly.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. We pull every permit required by your town, coordinate directly with building officials, and manage all rough and final inspections. You never talk to town hall unless you want to.

How do payments and financing work?

We work on a fixed-price contract with a milestone-based payment schedule tied to completed work — you never pay ahead of what's built. We accept check, ACH, and card, and we can refer trusted local lenders for renovation loans or HELOCs if you need financing.

What areas of Connecticut do you serve?

We work throughout New Haven, Fairfield, Hartford, and Middlesex counties — from Greenwich to Old Saybrook, West Hartford to Madison. If you're in Connecticut, we can almost certainly help.
